SEBO Filter Safety Catch Cl...

Product details
SEBO's filter safety catch is what prevents a machine from running with its filter missing or unseated, and the catch depends on one small sprung clamp to hold its position. Part 1073 is that clamp, and it is common across a wide span of the range rather than tied to a single model.
It appears at position 27 on the AUTOMATIC X4 / X5 parts sheet and at position 34 on the ESSENTIAL G4 / G5 sheet. When the clamp fatigues, the catch stops holding, the filter compartment refuses to latch cleanly, and on machines fitted with an interlock the vacuum may simply decline to start at all, which sends people hunting for an electrical fault that is really a small mechanical one.
- Part number: SEBO 1073, filter safety catch clamp
- AUTOMATIC uprights: X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost, X5, X7 Premium, X7 Pet and X8
- ESSENTIAL uprights: G1, G2, G4 and G5
- Also covers: the 370 COMFORT and ELECTRONIC 370
- Diagram positions: 27 on the AUTOMATIC X4 / X5 sheet, 34 on the ESSENTIAL G4 / G5 sheet
- Related: 1027, the microfilter holder leaf spring on the 370 machines
- Replace when: the filter compartment will not latch, the catch feels slack, or an interlocked machine refuses to start
- Job: keeps the safety catch located so a filter cannot ride unseated in its compartment
After fitting, press the filter fully home and confirm the catch snaps over and holds before the machine is put back to work. If the compartment still refuses to close, check that the filter itself is seated square in its frame, because a filter sitting proud will defeat a perfectly good clamp.
Genuine SEBO clamp for AUTOMATIC X, ESSENTIAL G and 370 series filter catches, ships in 2–5 business days.
