This replacement Shark foam filter (Part #F656) fits the Shark NV400 and NV402 Rotator Pro, including the XL Reach models. It sits ahead of the motor, catching fine dust before it can reach and wear the motor.

Foam filters compress and tear as they age, and a flattened one lets debris slip past while airflow drops. When the foam no longer springs back after rinsing, suction fades and the motor loses its protection. A fresh pair restores both.
