SEBO Front Bottom Plate for...

Product details
Part 2828HG is the front sole plate on the SEBO ESSENTIAL G2 and SEBO ESSENTIAL G5 cleaning head, the panel that rides against the floor ahead of the roller. SEBO supplies it complete, in light gray, so it goes straight onto the chassis without any parts being salvaged from the worn one.
This plate sets the gap between the head and the floor, so once it has worn thin or lost a corner the nozzle sits lower at the front and the suction channel stops sealing. Owners tend to notice it as debris being pushed along in front of the machine instead of picked up, or as a head that scrapes and chatters on hard flooring where it used to glide. A new plate re-establishes the clearance the head was designed around, and it does so without touching the brush height setting.
Front and rear panels carry separate numbers on these machines: the rear plate is 2830HG. Both bolt to chassis 2822HG, and it is worth having the roller out while the base is open — 15 inch brush roller 2838AM, or soft-bristle 2838GE, releases with catch 2843GS and is much easier to clear of hair off the machine than on it. Bearing blocks 5031HG and 5766HG sit at either end of that roller and are the next thing to check once the plate is off.
