Part B016-1814 is the moulded case that holds the Hall sensor in position on the ULW (ultra-lightweight) upright platform. This listing is the housing only; the sensor and its circuit board are ordered separately.
Once the case cracks or warps, the sensor tilts out of its intended alignment inside the base tray. A sensor sitting off-square like that will produce unreliable readings regardless of whether the sensor component itself is in good working order. Replacing the case first is worth doing before ordering a new sensor, since a bad reading traced back to a loose case is a cheaper fix than it first looks.
