SEBO Handle Cable for the Duo

Product details
Intermittent controls on a Duo brush machine usually mean a tired handle cable rather than a dead switch. SEBO 3125 is that cable, listed at position 3 in the Duo parts diagram between the cable clamp 1030UL at position 1 and the switch cap at 5, and it runs up inside the handle to link the controls with the body of the machine.
Its conductors flex with every stroke the operator takes, thousands of cycles a week in commercial use, and copper only tolerates that for so long. Eventually a strand fractures inside the insulation or a terminal backs out of its housing, and the machine begins to drop out when the handle moves, respond erratically to the switch, or refuse to start at all. The tell is that the fault follows movement rather than the switch itself: press the control and nothing happens, nudge the handle and the machine comes back. Renewing the cable clears the fault at source instead of masking it, and it is a far smaller job than replacing the rocker switch 05113 or the complete handle. Photograph the routing and the connector orientation before anything comes apart, and unplug the machine at the wall first.
