Position 47 on SEBO's Duo parts drawing is a small light gray cover, and part 2022HG is it. The neck cover closes over the swivel joint where the handle meets the machine on the SEBO Duo, finishing the pivot and keeping it enclosed.
Its job sounds modest and is not. Once the cover has split or gone missing, the joint sits open to fluff, hair and grit, all of which end up somewhere they were never meant to be.
