SEBO's FELIX drawing puts the complete handle at position 21 and gives it a different number in every finish. 7164DB is the dark blue one, the Indigo colourway, and it arrives as a set rather than as a single moulding: two grip halves, the grommet, the clamp and the screws that pull the assembly onto the handle tube.
The grip takes every load the machine ever puts into a hand — lifting it up a staircase, hauling it sideways past a chair leg, leaning on it while the head is worked under a bed. All of that ends up at the clamp, so failures start there. The clamp loosens, the two halves begin to move against each other, and a seam opens into a crack that runs out from a screw hole. Fitting both halves at once keeps the clamping force even across the tube and the colour consistent from one side to the other, which a single replacement half never quite manages on a coloured machine.
Two neighbouring parts get mistaken for this one. If the machine will not lock upright or will not release, the item in question is the handle release button at position 25, supplied colour-matched as 7082DB in dark blue.
