Oreck put the control electronics for the U2000RB-2L in the handle, and part 430001167 is that circuit board. It sits behind the grip, where the switch and the wiring loom from the body meet.
Handle boards fail the way small boards in a vibrating machine usually do: intermittently first, then permanently. The vacuum works until you tilt it, or it cuts out when the handle is moved and comes back when you jiggle it, or it simply stops answering the switch. Solder joints fatigue and connectors work loose long before anything looks burnt.
