Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This replacement handle release lever fits Hoover models numbered 27, 28, and 305, restoring the foot control that reclines the handle for cleaning. Pressing the lever unlocks the handle so it can tilt back from its upright park position.

Handle levers take repeated foot pressure and can crack, wear, or seize over time. When the lever fails, the handle stays locked upright or drops loosely, which makes the vacuum awkward to guide under furniture. A new lever brings back smooth, positive handle control.
