The blue headlight bumper for the Kirby Tradition 3CB, model 7315, part 161979A. It is the trim and cushion that wraps the headlight area at the nose of the machine, taking the hits so the housing behind it does not.

On a vacuum this old, the bumper is usually the piece that has hardened, split or gone missing entirely. What is left rattles at speed, and the exposed housing edge starts collecting the chips and scuffs the bumper was there to prevent. It is a small part that decides whether a well-kept Tradition looks it.

This is the blue version, matched to the 3CB Tradition's colour scheme. It seats in the original channel by hand. With it off, take the chance to check the headlight housing for cracks and the lens for clouding before you fit the new one.
