This is the replacement charging station for the HiZero Bionic Mop, ordered as part CHARGINGSTATION. The mop parks on it between sessions and charges through the contacts in the base.
When a station fails the machine simply is not ready when you want it. You set the mop down, the indicator does not come on, and next morning it runs for a minute and quits, or will not start at all. Damage to the cable where it leaves the base, and contacts gone dull or corroded, account for most of it.
Before replacing anything, wipe the contacts on both the base and the mop and reseat the unit squarely, because a dirty contact and a dead station look identical from the outside. If it still will not take a charge, a new base restores normal charging.
