Power cord assembly for the Hoover Porta Power, part 440013436, with the cord protector moulded on where the cord leaves the housing. It fits the CH3000 and CH30000 and the 7065 PortaPower, and it replaces the older part number 46383258.
Canister cords take punishment. They get dragged around door frames, run over by their own machine, and yanked out of the socket by the cord rather than the plug. Nicks in the jacket and a cord that cuts power when you flex it near the housing are both reasons to stop using the machine rather than tape it, since a damaged mains cord is a shock and fire risk.
The moulded protector is already fitted, so the strain relief at the exit point is restored along with the cord. Have a technician handle the wiring if you are not confident with it.
