This OEM Hoover telescoping wand assembly (Part #440001917) fits the Hoover SH40080 and SH40100 and the Royal SR30018. The wand extends and locks to reach ceilings, shelves, and other high spots for above-floor cleaning.
A wand that no longer locks, sticks while extending, or cracks at the joint makes overhead cleaning awkward and can drop the attachment mid-reach. Fitting the correct wand restores smooth extension and a secure, reliable lock.
