Forty feet of Hide A Hose retractable hose ships here as part HS500104P with the SmartSoc sock already on it and a mini cuff fitted at the tool end. The sock rides between the hose and everything it touches, protecting millwork and furniture on the way out and the wall tubing on the way back in.
The mini cuff is the half of the specification that matters most day to day. Attachments from the Hide A Hose tool kits push straight onto the cuff, with no coupler to hunt down and no adapter step between the hose and the tool. On a SmartSoc hose that cuff is the black 1-1/4 inch HS5000H4.
Because the sock is pre-installed rather than added later, the hose can be washed with the sock left on. That is the practical difference between this and buying a bare hose and a sock kit and marrying the two yourself.
Match the length to the hose your system was installed with rather than to the size of the room it serves, since the tubing run and the valve position were sized together when the system went in.
