This is the replacement quick wand release in the large size for Kenmore central vacuum and canister power nozzles. The quick release is the spring-loaded latch mechanism that locks the wand into the power nozzle neck and lets you pop it free with the press of a button or pedal for storage, attachment changes, and clearing the airway.

When the release wears out, the wand can work loose during use or refuse to disconnect cleanly. Installing a fresh large-size quick release (Part #41142) restores a positive, secure lock and easy one-touch wand removal.
