This is the complete drive assembly for Kirby Avalir uprights, part 552314G. It replaces the Tech-Drive unit that walks the machine forward and back, and it arrives with the bracket cam assembly, the neutral/drive pedal and both rear wheels already installed. Hubcaps are not included, so keep the ones from the old unit.
When a transmission wears out the Avalir stops helping you and starts fighting you. It feels like pushing a much heavier vacuum, the drive slips under load, or the pedal moves with no effect at all. Because so much of the drivetrain arrives in this one package, fitting the assembly usually settles several complaints at once.
