The belt lifter on your Kirby Tradition lets you disengage the brush roll for bare floor cleaning. This casting is the main body of the belt lifter mechanism. If it cracks or the pivot points wear out, you lose the ability to switch between carpet and bare floor modes. This genuine casting restores full belt lifter function. Part #144079.
