The end cap on a brush roll houses the bearing surface the roller spins on, and the right-hand cap takes constant load every second the brush is turning. Hair and thread wrapped around the roller work their way into the cap, and once it wears you will hear rumbling or squealing and see the brush wobble at one end. This genuine Lindhaus right-hand end cap lets you rescue a healthy brush roll instead of replacing the entire roller. Part #181580029.
