The metal mounting bracket with spigot (SKU 515) is the new-construction rough-in bracket for central vacuum inlet valves. It arrives ready to work, with a coupling already attached plus the gasket and screws in the package.
Installation: fasten the bracket to a stud, then connect a fitting — a tight 90 or a coupling — to the flange on the back side when running your pipe. Once the wall is finished, use a basic inlet valve cover to trim the opening. On metal piping jobs, run this bracket and its gasket together with the #524S flanged 90 ell.
