Product details

Auto Save is what separates the HVR200A from the base Henry. The machine starts in its economy setting every time it is switched on, and a red switch steps it up to Hi when a stretch of carpet or a heavily soiled area calls for it. Most cleaning does not need full draw, and starting low by default rather than relying on the operator to select it is the design decision that makes the saving real.

Numatic quotes the Auto Save head at a 50 percent energy saving, roughly 30 percent better exhaust air quality and about 20 percent lower running noise than a standard Henry canister without Auto Save. The measured figures are 680 watts, 114 CFM and 110 inches of water lift at 47 dB(A), with suction of 2600 mm on Hi and 1750 mm on Lo, and airflow around 45 liters per second.

The rest is standard Henry: a 9 liter bag, giant TriTex filters with HepaFlo dust bags rated 0.3 micron at 99.97 percent, a 33 foot cord on an internal rewind for about 26.8 meters of cleaning range, and a 6.6 kilogram body that carries up a staircase without argument. The ten-piece kit covers a stainless tube with volume control, two extension tubes, an 11.5 inch combination floor nozzle, a hose and tool adaptor, a 9 inch crevice tool, a soft dusting brush, a 6 inch upholstery nozzle and its slide-on brush.

  • Model: Henry HVR200A, SKU 900765
  • Auto Save: starts on economy, red switch engages Hi
  • Motor: 680 W, 114 CFM, 110 in water lift, 47 dB(A)
  • Capacity: 9 liter HepaFlo, 0.3 micron at 99.97 percent
  • Cord: 33 ft internal rewind, about 26.8 m of range

Running on Lo for above-floor work is about more than power draw. Full suction on curtains, lampshades and loose upholstery tends to grab the fabric rather than lift dust off it, and the economy setting is the more useful of the two across that entire class of work.
