The Magnesium series is Oreck's lightest upright, and part of keeping it light is a lot of precisely molded plastic — including the small bracket that backs up the power button. When that bracket cracks, the button sinks into the housing or stops making contact, and the vacuum becomes a guessing game to switch on. Rather than replacing the whole handle assembly, this bracket restores a firm, clicky button press for the cost of pocket change. Part #83051-01.
