The tunnel top cover on an Oreck Magnesium upright closes off the air channel that runs from the nozzle up toward the bag. Because the Magnesium is built so light, a knock against furniture or a drop down a stair can crack this piece — and once the tunnel isn't sealed, the vacuum pulls room air through the gap instead of dirt off the floor. This replacement cover fits the Oreck Magnesium LW1500 family and restores a tight airway so the machine's suction goes where it's supposed to. Part #83228-01.
