This replacement plastic collar adapter (Part #32-1000-02) steps a 35mm connection down to a 1-1/4 inch attachment fitting and fits Miele and other machines that use a 35mm opening. The black collar bridges the two sizes so tools of one standard connect to a hose or wand of the other.

Without the right adapter, a 35mm hose and a 1-1/4 inch tool leak air at the mismatched joint and lose suction. The correct collar seals the connection so full airflow reaches the attachment.
