Order code 5781SE brings the white nozzle shell for the AUTOMATIC X4 as a finished assembly. On the shared exploded sheet titled AUTOMATIC X4 X5 it sits at position 100, and the entry there notes that items 101 through 103 travel with it.

Those extra positions are why the complete assembly is usually the sensible buy. Item 101 on that sheet is the exhaust filter catch; item 103 is the exhaust filter cover. In this finish they are stocked individually as 5712WE and 5711WE. Taking the assembly means the small captive components turn up already in place, instead of being ordered one at a time once the nozzle is in pieces on the floor.

What the moulding actually does is cap the brush chamber and hold the trim line along the leading edge. White reveals its history early: surface scuffing, then stress marks around the mounting bosses, then a split. Once it has cracked, the chamber is no longer closed at the top and the nozzle loses part of the stiffness that keeps a roller turning true in its bearings.
