That extra width turns a backpack rig into a faster machine on open floor, sweeping it clean in a single lap where a narrower combination tool would need three or four passes to cover the same ground.
It is listed for the Powr-Flite BP6P, BP6S, BP10P and BP10S backpack vacuums, and for the Carpet Pro SCBP1.2. For any machine outside that list, check the tool connection on your wand against this head before ordering, since backpack tools only interchange when the wand fitting actually matches.
