SN218M is the soft nylon step in Powr-Flite's 20 in. rotary brush range, stocked for the company's 20 in. floor machines. White soft nylon bristles are the gentlest filament in the lineup, built to work a hard floor without marking a finish the way a grit or medium nylon brush can, since the fill flexes against the surface instead of biting into it.
Powr-Flite recommends this grade for marble, terrazzo and other highly polished floors, textured floors, rubber and LVT, epoxy or non-slip surfaces, and finished hardwood, surfaces where an aggressive brush would do more damage than good even when the floor looks like it needs scrubbing. Fine filament also reaches into floor texture that a stiffer brush skates over, which is why a soft grade can still lift soil out of a porous surface without cutting the finish underneath it.
