Product details

Intermittent starting on a SEBO 370 upright very often ends here. Part 1935ER is the printed circuit board supplied complete with its switch, the assembly handling on and off control for the 370 COMFORT and the ELECTRONIC 370.

The symptoms pointing at this assembly are consistent enough to diagnose from the bench: a machine needing several presses before it will start, one that cuts out when the handle is moved, or one that has stopped responding to the button entirely. Because the board and the switch arrive as a pair, there is no need to work out which of the two failed before ordering, and no risk of fitting a good switch to a bad board. Where the button simply sinks and stays down, the cause is usually the return spring rather than the board, and that is a far smaller repair.

Both 370 machines take the same assembly, so the decision is simply between confirming a 370 COMFORT and confirming an ELECTRONIC 370 on the data plate. There is no colour option and no handed version. Because the board arrives carrying the switch, it is worth ruling out the simpler causes first: a button held down by a collapsed lens, a broken return spring, or a mains lead that has failed at the strain relief will all imitate a dead board and are much quicker to check.

  • Fits: SEBO 370 COMFORT and ELECTRONIC 370
  • Supplied as: circuit board and switch together, one assembly
  • Replace when: the vacuum starts intermittently, drops out in use, or no longer responds to the on/off switch
  • Part number: 1935ER
  • Related: 1862 switch return spring, 1869HG lens and switch cover, 1860 valve fitting between board and bag housing

Photograph the wiring layout before anything is unplugged so nothing has to be guessed at on the way back together, and have a fresh wire tie to hand since the original usually gets cut. This is mains-side work: if you are not confident with it, hand the machine to a qualified technician. Genuine SEBO component, shipped in 2-5 business days.
