Part RX301 is a replacement brush roll for Rainbow PN-2 and PN-3 power nozzles, supplied with a belt so the nozzle can be put right in one go. It is the center-pulley design, with the belt running in the middle of the roller rather than at one end, so check yours before ordering.

Rollers wear out quietly. The bristles shorten and round over until they no longer reach into the pile, and carpet comes up looking brushed rather than cleaned. Wound hair at the end caps adds drag that slows the roller and eats belts, which is why the two are worth changing together.

It covers the Rainbow D3A, D3C, D4C and D4C SE and the E series, meaning E one-speed, E2 one-speed and E2 two-speed, along with power nozzle models 1650, 2800, 4375 and 5825 as well as the PN2 and PN3.
