This genuine OEM Rexair-Rainbow rotating fan assembly (Part #R8318) fits the E Series GS motor. The fan spins with the motor to generate the airflow and suction that draw dirt into the machine.
A fan that is cracked, chipped, or thrown out of balance produces excessive noise and vibration and loses suction as it spins unevenly. An imbalanced fan also stresses the motor shaft and bearings over time. Fitting the correct rotating fan restores balanced airflow and quieter operation.
