Product details
Riccar and Simplicity uprights run a 35-foot cord, and this is the complete assembly for the S10S, S10D and R10S. It also fits the R10P, in both the Riccar and the Simplicity badge. The part number is D434-4243.
A cord on a 35-foot machine takes more abuse than most: it gets dragged around corners for the length of a hallway and wrapped over a hook after every use. Intermittent power when you flex the cord near the handle, or a nick that exposes the conductors, means the assembly is finished. A damaged cord is a shock and arcing risk, not just an inconvenience.
It arrives as a full assembly with its terminals, so the new one lands exactly where the old one came off. Note the wire positions before you disconnect anything.
