The front neck coupling, part B220-1014, is the black molded half-collar that joins the handle neck to the body on Riccar and Simplicity lightweight uprights. It carries the pivot load every time the handle is reclined and stood back up, so it is one of the first pieces to split on a machine that has been dropped or leaned on hard.

This is the forward half only. The rear half of the same coupling is stocked separately as B220-1114, and a machine with a broken neck usually needs both halves, so inspect the back piece before ordering.
