Black plastic motor cover for MV Tandem Air upright vacuums, covering the Riccar R30, Simplicity S30 and Maytag M1200 machines. On a Tandem Air upright this panel encloses the motor compartment on the body of the cleaner, holds the cover seals and foam filter against the housing, and routes exhaust air out of the machine along the designed path.
Motor covers crack at the screw bosses and along the mounting tabs, usually after a fall or from a screw driven too tight during a previous service. Once a tab breaks, the cover no longer clamps evenly and air escapes at the joint instead of moving through the filter.
