    Return eligibility

    Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

    Opening up an ESSENTIAL G means backing out a run of the same small dark fasteners, and 01047ER supplies ten of them together. Each one is the 3 x 12 AMTEC screw with a Tx 10 socket, shown at position 64 on the G4 and G5 parts sheet and finished black for the places where the head remains on show.

    Replacing the set rather than only the one that gave trouble is the sensible call on a machine that has been serviced before. Heads take a beating from an undersized bit, and a screw that has begun to round will do it again the next time somebody needs to get inside; a thread that has been formed and re-formed in the same boss holds less each time. Working through the pack while the housing is already apart costs a few minutes and removes the reason for going back in. Order when the trim no longer sits flat, when a screw turns without pulling down, or when the black finish has been scraped off enough heads to be noticeable.
