Part 127 is the M4 x 10 k screw SEBO specifies across a wide slice of its range, sold as a single piece so a one-screw repair does not mean buying a bag of fifty. It carries a metric M4 thread 10 mm long, which is short enough to sit in a shallow seat and still be recovered and refitted at the next service.

Threads flatten out after a few teardowns, and a screw that no longer holds torque lets the cover it clamps drift loose while the machine is running. The early symptoms are a panel that lifts under a fingernail at one corner and a buzz that appears only at certain motor speeds. Left alone, the loose panel loads the fasteners either side of it and the single-screw repair grows.
