SEBO Suction Neck Seal for ...
$6.99
Product details
Part 6014 is the gasket that closes the joint between suction neck and bottom casing on SEBO canisters, and its place on the parts diagram says exactly where to look for it: SEBO numbers the bottom casing as item 1, the suction neck as item 2 and this seal as item 3 on the AIRBELT K sheet, in that order, because it is clamped between the two.
Leaks at this joint are quiet ones. Nothing looks broken, the note of the motor barely changes, and the machine simply lifts less than it once did. Rubber that has hardened with age has stopped filling its gap under clamping pressure, which means the motor takes the easy air offered at the joint instead of pulling it all the way through the floor tool. Anyone chasing lost suction who has already fitted a new bag and new filters should have this seal on the list well before condemning a motor. On the C-series machines the components on either side of it are the suction neck, listed as 6318UL or 6319UL depending on the body, and the dark gray bottom casing 6197DG.
