Part 52108 is the sensor assembly SEBO fits to the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium and the AUTOMATIC X7 Pet, ordered complete with its pulley and mounting screws. It carries position 134 on the combined AUTOMATIC X7/X8 parts diagram SEBO publishes, listed there simply as the complete sensor.

What makes this part unusual is that it sits in the middle of the drive, not beside it. SEBO's belt layout runs the short belt 5463 from the motor pulley to the sensor, and the longer belt 5110 onward from the sensor to the bearing block at the end of the brush roll. The sensor is therefore turned by the motor and turns the roller in its turn, which is precisely what lets the machine compare the two and know whether the roller is really rotating or has been stopped by a sock, a rug fringe or a belt that has started to slip. Should either the sensor or the pulley it drives give out, that comparison goes wrong in one of two directions: a warning that will not clear on a machine running perfectly well, or silence when the roller has genuinely stalled. Because the pulley and screws are included, the whole sensing path is renewed in one job rather than pairing a new sensor with a worn pulley.
