Product details
Three separate faults, one part number. 1852HG is the light gray wand panel used on the SEBO 370 COMFORT and ELECTRONIC 370, supplied with the indicator lens and the on/off button already fitted into it. It closes the side of the wand tube, carries the switch the machine is started and stopped with, and holds the window the indicator shines through.
Because those three items come as one moulding, a cracked panel, a button that no longer presses cleanly and a lens gone cloudy or missing are all settled by the same order. It also avoids the familiar trap of transferring a tired button across to a new cover and finding the fault has followed it over. Damage here is usually impact damage, since the wand is what takes the weight when an upright is leaned on a wall or dropped onto its side, and once the panel splits, dust starts reaching the switch behind it.
The wand is one of the few places on a 370 where a single moulding carries an electrical function, so it pays to be deliberate about the order. The cover is listed in light gray for the 370 COMFORT and the ELECTRONIC 370, and the finish is what separates it from the other side-cover numbers in the range. Compare the panel on your own machine against the picture before ordering. If the lens alone has failed and the panel around it is sound, the separate lens is the smaller job of the two.
- Fitment: SEBO 370 COMFORT and ELECTRONIC 370
- Shade: light gray, matched to the original 370 series mouldings
- Supplied with: the indicator lens and the on/off button in place
- Replace when: the panel is cracked, the button sticks or feels dead, or the lens is scratched, clouded or gone
- Part number: 1852HG
- Related: 1869HG light gray lens for the bag indicator and switch cover, 1862 switch return spring
Work the new button a few times before the wand goes back together so you can feel the click through the moulding. If the switch action was the original complaint, the return spring behind it is worth ordering at the same time, because a sunken button is more often the spring than the cover. Genuine SEBO part, shipped in 2-5 business days.
