SEBO Switch Lever for FELIX...

Product details
SEBO's FELIX drawing numbers the switch lever 28, and 7032ER supplies it complete. Sitting between a fingertip on the handle control and the contacts that actually carry current, the lever pivots on its boss and translates that push across into the switch body. One number serves machines of either vintage, because SEBO packs the design used before the change and the one used after it, so dating a build is unnecessary before ordering.
Decline here is gradual. The bore around the pivot goes out of round, the spring-back weakens, and before long the vacuum wants a second prod to catch. Carry on and the boss splits, leaving too little travel to keep the contacts together, so the machine simply refuses to run. On a bench that looks exactly like a failed switch, and sound switch assemblies get thrown away over it regularly. Test the lever's sweep and how firmly it comes back before writing off anything electrical.

- Fitment: SEBO FELIX Premium and FELIX 2 Premium
- Diagram position: item 28, FELIX sheet, switch lever complete
- Form: full lever, covering both design generations
- Symptoms: a sticky lever, a split at the pivot, or no return action

Everything happens inside the handle housing, around the handle tube 7081ER at item 11, so the handle has to come apart. Unplug at the wall to begin with, and take note of how the return spring beds itself, because the orientation is not deducible from the loose parts alone.
