Product details
Turning a SEBO upright into a corner puts every bit of that load through the swivel neck bearing. Part 2954 is the factory bearing for the joint, letting the head rotate against its housing without the stiffness or side-to-side play that makes an upright tiring to push around furniture.
It appears at position 122 on the ET-1/ET-2 power head diagram, at 122 on the DART sheet and at 122 for the FELIX, sitting just before the right and left swivel neck supports at 123 and 124. Roughness felt through the handle, a low grinding note as you turn, or a head that flops when the machine is stood upright are the classic signs the bearing has had enough. It rarely wears alone: the six-piece metal segment set 2950ER at position 116 and the swivel neck slide at 119 share the same steering loads, and the support axle 2928 at 126 runs in the same assembly, so inspect all of them while the neck is apart.

A full SEBO swivel neck rebuild comes down to a handful of parts, and this bearing is the one that decides whether the finished joint turns sweetly or merely turns. Order it with the segment set if the neck has covered years of carpet, since the two wear together and the labour is the same either way. Genuine SEBO bearing from an authorized dealer, shipping in 2–5 business days.
