Light gray bodywork takes the matching slide, part 2945HG. It sits inside the swivel neck and guides the pivot where the head meets the handle, so the nozzle follows your wrist instead of drifting wide of the line you are steering.

Position 119 on SEBO's FELIX parts diagram marks this component, sitting between the button cover at 118 and the socket cover at 120. Years of steering wear the bearing face down, and the result is felt rather than seen: a neck that flops when the machine is stood up, or one that grinds and resists as you turn along a baseboard. Renewing the slide tightens the joint back up. Because the same joint carries two other wear items, it is worth pulling the metal segment set 2950ER at position 116 and the swivel neck bearing 2954 at 122 for inspection while everything is apart. A neck that has cracked rather than worn is replaced complete as 2307HG in light gray.

Match by trim colour before ordering, since the light gray and gray black slides do the same job but look plainly different once the head is back together.
