SEBO Right-Hand Swivel Neck...

Product details
Two supports carry the swivel neck on an ESSENTIAL G upright, and part 2824 is the right-hand one. SEBO lists it at position 110 in the ESSENTIAL G4 G5 parts diagram, and the same number serves the whole family: ESSENTIAL G1, ESSENTIAL G2, ESSENTIAL G4 and ESSENTIAL G5.
This support absorbs the leverage every time the body is reclined, so it is a common casualty on a machine that has been parked hard into a wall or dragged down a staircase. A split support gives the neck sideways freedom, and that shows up as vague steering long before the crack itself becomes visible from outside. The other giveaway is a machine that leans slightly to one side when it is standing upright, because one support is now holding the neck lower than the other.
Fit it as a pair job wherever the damage looks old. Left-hand support 5479 does the mirrored work and will have taken the same loading, and the bearings running inside the joint — swivel neck bearing 2825 and left-hand bearing 5717 — wear along with it. Where the neck casting itself has play rather than the supports, the complete assemblies are 2823UL for the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2 and 20823UL for the ESSENTIAL G4 and G5, both supplied ready to fit.
