Tame the exhaust roar of a high-airflow vacuum or central power unit with this deluxe black exhaust muffler (Part #8080). The oversized 4-1/2-inch diameter and 12-inch length give it more internal volume than a standard silencer, so it dampens motor exhaust noise more aggressively while keeping airflow restriction low.

The cylindrical canister mounts inline on the discharge side of the vacuum, where dense sound-absorbing media inside the body breaks up exhaust turbulence and softens the harsh whine of the motor. The larger 4-1/2" bore makes it a strong match for powerful central vacuum systems, built-in units, and commercial machines that move a lot of air and vent into occupied spaces.
