SEBO Valve Spring Set for FELIX Premium, FELIX 2 Premium and DART — Two Springs

Packet 7028ER holds two springs rather than one: the original 7028 pattern and the revised 8128UL that superseded it. Supplying the pair means a machine can be put back together without first establishing which production build it left the factory as. SEBO draws the set at item 17 of the DART sheet, and the later of the two springs also appears in its own right at item 13 of the FELIX sheet under the number 8128UL, so it can be ordered alone once you know which one your machine uses.

The spring acts on the suction valve inside the upright, the flap that decides whether air is drawn through the floor nozzle or up the hose. Movement opens it; the spring is what closes it again. As tension is lost the valve stops reseating cleanly and the machine bleeds air through a path it should not be using. On the floor that reads as a nozzle gone soft; at the hose end it reads as a tool with no grip, in both cases with clean filters and a fresh bag. Lay the removed spring beside the two supplied, fit the one that matches on free length and coil count, and keep the other with the machine.

The valve sits behind a moulded panel, listed as 7056GS in gray black and 7057HG in light gray, and that panel is worth inspecting for cracks while the spring is out.
