Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Product details

Part 514 is the white PVC cap that terminates the open end of a central vacuum pipe. Wherever a run stops without meeting another fitting, the cap closes the line off instead of leaving it open into a wall cavity or a room.

MD lists a second job for it as well: capping the unused debris intake neck on any of its power units, so a unit with two intakes and one pipe run stays sealed at the spare opening. Installers ordering ahead of a job can enter 50 for a full case.

Central vacuum tubing is not sold in one universal diameter across every manufacturer, so measuring the cap against a piece of the pipe already in the wall is worth doing before ordering a handful, especially on a system that was installed by a different company from the one servicing it now.
