The Windsor motor assembly (Part #53-8508-06) is a complete replacement motor unit for the Windsor XT-18 commercial upright, and it also fits the SR15 and S12. Supplied as a full assembly, it replaces a worn or failed motor in one unit rather than requiring a rebuild. The motor is what generates the suction the machine depends on.

A failing motor shows itself through reduced suction, burning smells, excessive noise, or a complete shutdown.
