Safety catch and spring come in the box with this one. Part 1847 is the complete bag holder assembly for the SEBO Essential G4, Essential G5, 370 Comfort and Electronic 370.
The holder is what the filter bag collar clips into, so its condition decides whether the bag seats square against the intake neck. Warped or cracked, it lets the collar stand proud, and dust then takes the easy route around the bag rather than through the filtration — which is how fine grey dust ends up coating the inside of a compartment that should stay clean. Once that starts, it also finds its way onto the motor filter, and a repair that was about one small plastic part becomes a full strip and clean.
Buying the assembly avoids sourcing the catch and its spring separately, and means the whole bag mount goes back to a known condition in one operation.

Complete means what it says here: the holder arrives with its safety catch and spring, so there is nothing to salvage from the old assembly and nothing else to order to finish the job. Genuine SEBO through an authorized dealership, generally shipping in 2–5 business days. Seat the bag collar fully square on the new holder before closing the door, and wipe the compartment out while it is empty so any dust that bypassed the old bag does not simply get drawn through the machine afterwards. If the door itself has been closing unevenly, look at the latch parts too — a sound holder cannot seal against a door that will not clamp.
