SEBO Retaining Ring for AUT...

Product details
A ten-count pack of gray black retaining rings, ordered as 5424GS. The ring is the small locking collar holding a hose coupling captive in its socket, and it is exactly the item a service bench runs out of at the worst possible moment.
Rings fail from fatigue rather than abuse. Every time a coupling is twisted in and pulled back out the ring flexes, and after enough cycles the plastic hardens, loses its spring and eventually splits. The tell is a coupling that will not stay seated: it creeps out under its own weight, there is a faint hiss at the joint, and floor pickup falls away for no reason any filter change will cure. Swapping the ring takes a couple of minutes and restores a positive lock.
Fitment is unusually broad for one component. Across the AUTOMATIC uprights it covers the X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost and X5. Across the ESSENTIAL uprights it covers the G1, G2, G4 and G5. It also serves the 300 MECHANICAL, 350 MECHANICAL, 370 COMFORT and ELECTRONIC 370, which is what makes the multipack sensible for anyone looking after a mixed fleet.
Rings take up almost no shelf space and go in without tools, so a pack of ten quietly covers a season of small repairs instead of generating an order each time.
