This OEM-specification nozzle housing drum replaces the case drum on the Bissell 6585 upright. It houses and aligns the brush roll so the roller spins true within the nozzle.
The drum keeps the brush roll centered and sealed against the floor, and a cracked or worn housing lets the roll shift, wobble, or lose contact on one side. That imbalance adds noise and accelerates belt wear. A sound replacement restores proper alignment and a clean seal.
