This is the internal suction hose for the Bissell 12B1 PowerForce Helix, part 2038074, the ribbed section that carries air from the nozzle up to the cyclone. It is not the cleaning-tool hose; it is the one buried in the body of the machine.
Hoses split at the cuffs, harden with age and tear where they flex against the handle. The symptom is a vacuum that sounds normal and spins its brush roll normally but picks up almost nothing, because the air is entering through the crack instead of the floor nozzle. A hose blocked by a stuck sock produces the same result and is worth ruling out before you order.
It fits the PowerForce Helix 12B1 and 1240 with their lettered variants, plus the PowerForce 1700 and 2191. It comes off with the body cover, so a screwdriver is the only tool involved.
