Product details
Multi-surface brush roll for the Bissell CrossWave, part 1608683. It fits the 1785 machines and their variants, and it is the general-purpose roller, the one that lets you wash a kitchen floor and then run over an area rug without changing anything.
The scrubbing bristles do two jobs at once on a CrossWave: they carry formula onto the surface and work the dirt loose so the suction slot can take it away with the water. When they wear down, or set into a curve from being stored wet, that hand-off breaks. The floor comes up wetter, dries streaky, and marks survive passes that used to clear them.
Rinse the roller under the tap after use and dry it standing in the tray rather than leaving it in the machine.
